In order to keep pace with the growing need in the workplace for skilled Welders, CNC Machine operators / programmers, as well as skilled Machinists, a High School recently built a new State-Of-The-Art Tech-Ed Lab.
Compressed Air Services, Inc. from Hagerstown Maryland designed and installed the Compressed Air System required to power the pneumatic needs of the new equipment.
This Lab provides the students with the knowledge and experience needed upon entering the workplace. The equipment that they are training on is what they will be using in industry. The Compressed Air System is also what they will be seeing and using in the workplace.
The knowledge gained in this facility will be a great help in the School to work transition, and help local companies fill vacant positions with good paying jobs.
